The effect of adding nano-silica on the ultrasonic pulse velocity of geopolymer concreteNanotechnology plays an important role in the current construction industry. It has been observed that several properties of cement-based concrete are affected by different nano materials. In this study, different weight percentages of nano-silica (0, 1, 2, and 4 wt%) were used to build geopolymer specimens. The mechanical properties of the specimens were then measured, including the compressive and flexural strength. Results demonstrated that increasing the percentage of nano-silica from 0 to 4 wt% increases the compressive strength of the specimens from 50.4 to 75.2 MPa and the flexural strength from 11.4 to 26.2 MPa. Furthermore, it was observed that the ultrasonic pulse velocity was altered by increasing SiO2 (nano-silica), decreasing the ultrasonic pulse rate from 7.0 to 4.5 km.s-1.

Anorectal malformations (ARMs) remain a significant birth defect with an accepted incidence of approximately 0.2 - 1.2%.1,2 Although major advances have occurred in the management of these children during the last 15 years, ARMs remain a clinical challenge largely because of the significant reconstructive and management aspects involved, many of which are related to faecal and urinary continence and possible sexual inadequacy in later life. Groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) is an important oil seed and emerging food crop of India. salinity is one of the major problem limiting crop production by affecting its many phases viz, seed germination, growth ,flowering and fruting ,metabolite content. Brassinosteroid are novel type of phytohormone that influences various physiological processes in plant during various stress condition. In this study pot experiment was conducted by selecting four groundnut cultivars viz.GG2, GG4, TMV13, Girnar 2. The seedling metabolite content at early sprouting stage was measured as changes in protein, total amino acid and proline content all Brassinosteroids treatment over control in the seedling. Here, studies deals with evaluation of role of brassinosteroids on metabolites content of some germinating groundnut cultivars under salinity stress.
